4th of July Treats + Cards Printable

Yesterday the kiddos were super excited to make something special to share with family. We worked through the afternoon to make some Krispie Treat “Popsicles” and I used Canva to whip up some labels (linked below). We used Aldi brand Krispie Rice & marshmallows to keep these gluten free, as well as canned frosting and a pack of popsicle sticks.

I followed the directions for Krispie Treats on the the Aldi marshmallows (2 bags marshmallows, 1 box Krispies) and pressed into an XL baking sheet. After letting them cool,  we used  star and “firework” (idk what the other round shape is… flower?) shaped cookie cutters for two of the shapes, and I used the scraps to make the bomb-pop shape. I pressed down firmly on the shape while inserting the popsicle sticks so they wouldn’t separate, sometimes adding a little more krispie treat on the back to keep them secure.

I divided a can of frosting into two bowls, thinned with a bit of milk (about 2 TBS each) and added coloring. I did a couple “samples” for the kids, then they took over! They need to be fully set-up before placing into the plastic bags, so I placed these back onto cookie sheets and popped them in the fridge for about an hour. I found the popsicle sticks and clear plastic bags at Target.

You can download the treat labels {HERE} They had so much fun walking around our neighborhood to deliver to all our family!
