Every now and then we’ll make a store-bought boxed dinner {gluten free of course} because they’re fairly simple and fast to throw together. One of our favorite “flavors” is the Beef Stroganoff, however the gluten free mixes don’t come with very much pasta, and I usually end up having to add a bunch extra of our own. Finally I decided I needed to just figure out a simple version to make ourselves that was still quick but also had the flavor we enjoy.
It was actually pretty easy! The main ingredients I incorporated out to accomplish the “Stroganoff flavor” were cream of mushroom soup and a little cheese. It turned out great! This recipe makes quite a bit, which is perfect for us because we like leftovers.
Gluten Free Beef Stroganoff Fusilli
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 24 oz fusilli pasta
- 4 TBS butter
- ½ cup milk
- 2 oz cheddar cheese
- 15 oz GF cream of mushroom soup
Instructions
- Brown hamburger in skillet until cooked completely. At the same time boil pasta in large pot.
- When pasta has finished cooking, strain and add all ingredients to the large pot. Stir until thoroughly heated.
Notes
You could also use 2 boxes gluten free mac & cheese mix in place of the separate pasta & cheese ingredients
