May is National Foster Care Month. On any given day there are an average of 430,000 children in foster care, and not always enough homes to put them in. Our family decided to pursue foster care after the birth of our second (Audriana) and I’m so grateful for the kiddos and families we able to help along the way before Zoey came to us ?. Foster care comes with many frustrations and unknowns, but it’s so so worth it to those that need it!! If you’ve ever considered doing foster care, AdoptUsKids has a lot of great information for laws in your specific state as well as how to get started!
