Over Labor Day weekend, we thought it would be super fun to take a trip down to the Des Moines Zoo – little girl LOVES animals and we thought for sure she’d have a great time. We ended up getting there early in the afternoon {which just happens to also be nap time} and there were a TON of people there. She was a lot more quiet than we expected, though she did seem to still get a little excited at several of the animals. Overall I’d still say it was a good trip, but she’ll probably would have appreciated it more had she been a little older {and a little more rested!} Here are some of the pics:

You took some great pics. I love the turtle! And that tiger! wow! Usually our tigers are always hiding and you never get to see them.
